What's New in the Step Sequencer Toolkit?
Sequencer Step Sequencing: The Step Sequencer Toolkit package provides a collection of modules for doing sample accurate step sequencing. I was trying to make a sequencer with 303-esque glide. The SMF, SMP, and TSF modules are designed to take in a digital audio file as a parameter. Then they will call into the step sequencer sound module to perform step sequencing with the provided timing information. This means you are not limited to using the libraries as either an audio I/O module or an audio/step sequencing module. The source code is available under the MIT license. By default, the step sequencing is configured to step at a rate of 4 milliseconds per sample. For higher accuracy you can increase the sample rate. The module will try to run at the highest sample rate supported by the AVR chip at the time. The minimum sample rate supported by the AVR chip is 48KHz. If the sample rate is higher than the supported sample rate, the timing information will be ignored. If the sample rate is the same as the supported sample rate, but the timing information is invalid, the module will run in step mode. In step mode, each sample will be interpreted as having all timing information. The timing information consists of the sample length, the timing information for the left and right channels, and the timing information for the left and right channels. The modules are not lossless. If the sample rate is set to 48KHz, then a sample rate of 96KHz would produce a file 2 samples long. This file is the default sample rate for the SMF module.
